Reign, Monsters to meet in West Finals

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League has announced the schedule for the Western Conference Finals series of the 2016 Calder Cup Playoffs.

The Ontario Reign, top affiliate of the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings, will meet the Lake Erie Monsters, top affiliate of the NHL’s Columbus Blue Jackets, in the best-of-seven series beginning Saturday in Ontario, Calif.

Lake Erie advanced with a Game 6 overtime victory at Grand Rapids tonight; Ontario defeated San Diego in five games.
