Road Runners sell out Dec. 20 game

The Edmonton Investors Group is pleased to announce that the Christmas Charity Challenge has sold out.

“We are ecstatic that so many hockey fans have come out to support these two great charities,” said Cal Nichols, Chairman of the Edmonton Investors Group. “With every seat in Rexall Place sold, we’ll be able to throw our full support behind the Christmas Bureau and Santa’s Anonymous. We challenge others to do their part for the community, and make this a merry Christmas for everyone.”

On Monday, the Edmonton Investors Group announced the Christmas Charity Challenge. All remaining seats for the December 20 game between the Edmonton Road Runners and the Hamilton Bulldogs were purchased by the Edmonton Investors Group, and then made available to the community for only $4, with proceeds going to the Christmas Bureau and Santa’s Anonymous.

Hockey fans from across the province were quick to take advantage of the special offer, and will pack Rexall Place to the rafters for the game, which will be seen live across Canada on Rogers Sportsnet.

Capacity at Edmonton’s Rexall Place is listed at 16,839.
