The Tucson Roadrunners announced today that the club has signed left wing Zac Larraza to a one-year contract for the 2017-18 American Hockey League season.

Larraza, 24, enters his third pro season after splitting last year between San Diego (AHL) and Utah (ECHL). In 17 regular-season games with the Gulls, Larraza notched five goals and four assists along with a plus-7 rating.

A native of Scottsdale, Arizona, Larraza was a seventh-round draft pick by the Arizona Coyotes organization in 2011. He went on to play four seasons at the University of Denver, where he amassed 35 goals and 31 assists in 134 games.

Larraza has skated in 41 career AHL contests with San Diego, Milwaukee and Portland, totaling eight goals and nine assists for 17 points.
