The Ottawa Senators, parent club of the AHL’s Binghamton Senators, have signed forward Chad Nehring to a one-year, two-way contract.
A native of Springside, Sask., Nehring led the Hartford Wolf Pack in goals (22), points (48), plus/minus (+16) and games played (76) in 2015-16, his fifth pro season and second in the AHL.
Nehring was undrafted following four seasons at Lake Superior State University, and has totaled 26 goals and 34 assists for 60 points in 129 career AHL games, all with Hartford.
