The San Antonio Rampage have acquired forward Colin Smith from the Toronto Marlies for future considerations. In addition, the Colorado Avalanche have reassigned forward Mike Sislo from San Antonio to Toronto.

Smith, 23, returns to the Rampage for his second stint with the club; he skated in 54 games for San Antonio last season before joining Toronto.

This year, Smith has recorded eight goals and 20 assists for 28 points in 52 games with the Marlies. Over his four pro seasons, the Edmonton native has compiled 48 goals and 101 assists for 149 points in 258 games with San Antonio, Toronto and Lake Erie.

A seventh-round draft choice by Colorado in 2012, Smith has skated in one career NHL game, with the Avalanche in 2014-15. He signed an AHL contract with the Marlies on July 4, 2016.

Sislo, 29, has recorded six goals and 15 assists for 21 points in 54 games with San Antonio this season, his first year in the Colorado organization.

An AHL All-Star in 2016, Sislo spent the previous five seasons with the New Jersey Devils and their AHL affiliate in Albany. He has totaled 98 goals and 110 assists for 208 points in 358 career AHL contests, along with three goals and two assists in 42 NHL games.

Sislo signed as a free agent with Colorado on July 1, 2016.
