Sound Tigers add Casey Bailey

The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today that forward Casey Bailey has agreed to terms on an American Hockey League contract for the 2017-18 season.

Bailey, 25, tied for the team lead with 21 goals and added 16 assists for 37 points in 62 games with the AHL’s Binghamton Senators last season, and earned a trip to the AHL All-Star Classic in January.

The third-year pro also appeared in seven NHL games with the Ottawa Senators.

A native of Anchorage, Alaska, Bailey split his rookie season between Binghamton and Toronto in 2015-16, totaling 11 goals and 28 assists for 39 points in 68 AHL games. He made his NHL debut with the Maple Leafs at the end of the 2014-15 season, scoring one goal in six contests.
