June 3, 2014

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League has announced that SiriusXM NHL Network Radio will air the deciding Game 7 of the AHL's Western Conference Finals between the Texas Stars and the Toronto Marlies tonight.

The Stars and Marlies are both looking to return to the Calder Cup Finals; Texas lost in the championship series to Hershey in 2010, and Toronto lost to Norfolk in 2012. Tonight's game will be carried live on SiriusXM NHL Network Radio at 8:30 ET.

SiriusXM NHL Network Radio can be found on Sirius 207 and XM 211, providing more than 20 million subscribers in Canada and the United States with groundbreaking 24/7 hockey talk, news, expert opinion and exciting play-by-play. This marks the ninth consecutive season that AHL action is airing on SiriusXM NHL Network Radio, including the annual AHL All-Star Game, the Calder Cup Finals and other regular-season and playoff games.

In operation since 1936, the American Hockey League continues to serve as the top development league for the players, coaches, managers, executives and broadcasters of all 30 National Hockey League teams. More than 88 percent of NHL players are American Hockey League graduates, and for the 13th year in a row, more than 6 million fans have attended AHL games across North America in 2013-14. Through the years, the AHL has been home to more than 100 future members of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
