The Texas Stars clinched a berth in the 2018 Calder Cup Playoffs on Saturday night with a 4-3 win over the Rockford IceHogs.
The Stars missed the postseason in 2017, but will participate for the seventh time in their nine seasons as members of the AHL. Texas reached the Calder Cup Finals in 2010 and won the championship in 2014.
