The Texas Stars have put the clamps on the top team in the Pacific Division, and are now just one win away from the conference finals.

Mike McKenna made 27 saves for his second shutout of the postseason as the Stars defeated Tucson, 2-0, on Wednesday night to take a 3-1 lead in their second-round series.

Texas will look to eliminate the Roadrunners when they host Game 5 in Cedar Park on Friday night.

Curtis McKenzie and Andrew Bodnarchuk scored 3:17 apart in the second period to supply all of the offense in Game 4.

Brian Flynn recorded two assists for the Stars, and has taken over the AHL scoring lead with 10 points this postseason.

McKenna (6-2) has allowed just seven goals in his last six appearances for Texas.

Adin Hill (4-4) made 26 saves for the Roadrunners, who have lost three in a row for the first time since Dec. 9-13.
