Career … Made his Portland Pirates and AHL debut February 25, 2005 against the Providence Bruins, in relief of Maxime Ouellet during the third period. Earned his first AHL victory March 12, 2005, making 27 saves in a victory over Philadelphia. Undefeated in six straight games for South Carolina in January, 2005, finishing the month a 6-0-0 record, a goals against average of 1.65 and a saves percentage of .946. Posted his first pro shutout January 15, 2005 against Augusta.
