Biography
2007-08: Appeared in 26 games with the Anaheim Ducks last season, scoring five points (2g, 3a). Also played in 31 games for the Portland Pirates, averaging over a point per game during the season with 36 points. Was named the Rbk/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Jan. 13, earning 5-3=8 points over a span of four games from Jan. 9-13. Played in his 100th AHL game on 2/23 in Worcester.
2006-07: Scored his first professional goal on 10/7/06 in a 7-2 victory at home over Providence, and went on to collect 16 goals and 36 points in 79 games for the Pirates. Miller was recalled to Anaheim for their playoff run, playing in 3 games for the Ducks, including Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals.
Career: As assistant captain in 2005-06 with the Michigan State Spartans, Miller recorded 33 points (17 goals, 16 assists) in 40 games to rank third among the team in scoring. He was Michigan State's Most Improved Player. He was the 10th member of his family to letter for the Spartans in hockey.
