Biography
2008-09: Posted first point on 10/31 with game-winning assist. Scored first Iowa Chops goal and was +3 in a 5-1 win over SA on 11/11. Scored two goals and added an assist in a 6-5 win vs. RFD on 12/27. Scored a PP goal in a 4-3 shootout loss @ CHI on 01/29. Recorded a goal and assist in a 4-3 shootout loss vs. PEO on 01/30. Had a goal and assist in a 4-1 win vs. RFD on 02/07.
2007-08: Split time between the Portland Pirates (AHL) and Augusta Lynx (ECHL) during his first professional season. Had 4 goals and 19 assists with the Augusta Lynx before being reassigned to Portland on January 11, 2008. Scored his first AHL point and first AHL goal in the same game on 1/13 at Lowell in the Pirates 5-1 win.
College: Finished his collegiate career at the University of Denver where he totaled 15 goals and 42 assists in 139 career games. During his senior season, registered 13 points (3g, 10a). Was a part of the University of Denver teams that won Back-to-Back NCAA Division I National Championships in 2004 and 2005 as a freshman and sophomore. Best season in college was as a sophomore when he registered 18 points.
Prior to college: Played two years in the British Columbia Junior Hockey League for the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.
