2009-10 Season: Made his pro debut on 10-4-09 at Providence stopping 11 of 12 shots in 20 minutes of action. Stopped 30 of 36 shots on 10-18-09 at Manchester in his first AHL start. Collected his first AHL win on 10-25-09 at Lowell stopping 29 of 31 shots.
2008-09 Season: He backstopped Alberta to its 47th Canada West Hockey championship and a CIS record 33rd appearance at the University Cup national championship tournament. Aaron went 4-1 with a conference leading 1.80 GAA and a .926 save percentage in the Canada West Hockey playoffs as he led the Golden Bears to series victories over Regina and Saskatchewan to claim the W.G. Hardy Trophy. He stopped 52 of 54 shots in the Golden Bears two game sweep of Saskatchewan in the Canada West Hockey Final on March 20th-21st, making 21 saves in a 5-2 victory in Game 1 of the Canada West Hockey Final on March 20th and then made 31 saves to register his first shutout of the season as Alberta swept Saskatchewan with a 7-0 victory on March 21st. The Canada West Hockey first team all-star posted a .963 save percentage in the Canada West Hockey Final, allowing only two power play goals in the series.
Career Notes: Aaron finished his final CIS season with a 23-6-0 record in 30 games and finished with a 2.03 GAA and a .922 save percentage. He led the CIS in both GAA and save percentage in conference play and finished his career at Alberta with a career record of 97-27-2 in 130 career games.
