Biography
2009-10 Season: Made Falcons debut on March 5 against Binghamton. Collected first AHL point on 3-20-10 at Hartford.
2008-09 Season: Participated in Falcons’ training camp before starting his pro career with Springfield’s ECHL affiliate, the Stockton Thunder. Played 17 games with the Thunder before missing the remainder of the season due to injury.
Career Notes: Was named team captain of the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Western Hockey League and set a new career high with 160 penalty minutes during 2007-08 season. Unsigned by Phoenix who had drafted him in 2006, Bendfeld re-entered the Draft in 2008 where he was selected by Edmonton. Led Medicine Hat to a record of 52-17-3-0 during the 2006-07 season.
