2009-10: Attended the Carolina Hurricanes (NHL) training camp… Assigned to Albany 9/25/09.

Career Notes: Made his professional debut with the Gwinnett Gladiators (ECHL) following the conclusion of his senior (2004-05) season at Western Michigan... Had five assists in 14 games with Gwinnett... Had 16 goals in first season with Chicago (AHL) in 2005-06, one shy of the franchise record for a rookie… Signed with Carolina as a free agent in July 2006... Established an AHL career high with 79 games played during the 2006-07 season with Albany (AHL)… Scored his 100th career AHL point on 2/27/08... Played in his 200th career AHL game on 3/1/08... Was named Albany’s team captain on 3/12/08 and served as the River Rats’ captain during the playoffs... College: Completed his four-year college career at Western Michigan (CCHA) with 101 points (45g, 56a) in 142 games...Was team captain as a senior for Western Michigan (NCAA) in 2004-05…Scored his 100th collegiate point on March 12th, 2005… Was CCHA Rookie of the Year and member of the CCHA All-Rookie Team as a freshman in 2001-02 at Western Michigan when he had 17 goals and 17 assists (34 points) in 38 games.
