Biography
2006-07: Served as an assistant captain for Providence… Scored a career-high 23 points for Providence, including a personal-best 15 assists, in addition to 74 penalty minutes for Providence during the regular season… Made National Hockey League debut for the Boston Bruins vs. the Buffalo Sabres on October 21, the first of four separate one-game call-ups to Boston throughout the year… Played in 100th professional game on December 9 at the Albany River Rats… Received the Hendricks Memorial Fan Appreciation Award, voted on by P-Bruins fans.
Career: 2005-06: Scored first professional goal October 15th at the Portland Pirates…Played in a career-high 74 games… 2004-05: Helped lead the Western Hockey League’s Seattle Thunderbirds to a first-place finish in the United States Division with record of 43-24-2-3, scoring a junior personal single-season high 19 goals along the way… Made his professional debut with Providence in the first game of the Atlantic Division Finals on the road against the Lowell Lock Monsters on May 6… Scored his first pro point five nights later with the game-winning assist… 2002-03: Helped the Thunderbirds win the U.S. Division regular season title… 2001-02: Had career highs in points (39) and assists (26) as a rookie… Was named the Thunderbirds Rookie of the Year.
