Biography
2007-08: Made his Penguins debut on October 3, recording one assist against the Hershey Bears, his former team...Had one goal and plus-2 Nov. 21 vs. Worcester...Recorded two assists and was plus-3 February 13 @ Norfolk...Picked up his second goal of the season April 4 vs. Springfield...Recorded two points (1+1) in Game Four of the East Division Finals in Portland on May 20.
2006-07: Split the season between Reading (ECHL) and Hershey (AHL)…Appeared in six games with the Royals, recording three assists and eight penalty minutes…Picked up 10 points (4+6), 95 penalty minutes and a plus-12 rating in 44 games with the Bears… Recorded his first career AHL goal on January 6 against the Penguins… Recorded points in back-to-back games April 7 against Norfolk (goal) and April 8 against the Penguins (assist)
2005-06: Split the season between South Carolina (ECHL) and Hershey (AHL)…Collected 16 points (3+13) in 35 games with the Stingrays before joining the Bears in late December…Recorded his first AHL point (an assist) on January 28 against Binghamton…Finished the season with four assists and 77 penalty minutes in 37 games with the Bears
2004-05: Spent the entire season with Las Vegas (ECHL), recording 21 points (5+16) and 138 penalty minutes while appearing in all 72 regular season games…Ranked third on the team in penalty minutes
2003-04: Split the season between Las Vegas (ECHL) and Lowell (AHL)…Had 13 points (2+11) in 35 games with the Wranglers, and was scoreless with 34 penalty minutes in 26 games with the Lock Monsters
JUNIOR CAREER: Spent parts of five seasons with the Moose Jaw Warriors (WHL), recording 48 points (14+34) and 520 penalty minutes in 243 career games…Was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the sixth round (194th overall) of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft
