Scored his first professional point (assist) in his first pro game on October 7 at the Portland Pirates…Tallied his first two career goals on October 28, also at Portland… Named Providence’s October Player of the Month and Top Scorer (2g, 6a)… Received the CCM/Vector American Hockey League Player of the Week honors on January 22 after scoring eight points (4g, 4a) in four games… Made his National Hockey League debut on January 30 for the Boston Bruins on the road at the Buffalo Sabres… Was the P-Bruins’ Top Scorer for both January (8g, 10a) and March (10g, 7a)… Had a career-high 14-game AHL point-streak, registering 11 goals and 23 points along the way, from January 7 to February 16… Led Providence in scoring during the regular season, ranking third among AHL rookies… Voted by his teammates as the Martone Group Rookie of the Year… Twice scored a single-game career-best four points (November 18 and March 2, both at the Worcester Sharks)… Notched 21 multiple-point games during the season.
