Biography
Acquired: Traded to the Islanders by the New Jersey Devils, along with a conditional draft pick in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, in exchange for Ben Walter on June 30, 2009.
Last Season: Scored 19 points (7g/12a) in 67 games during his second professional season and his first full American Hockey League campaign with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers�Recorded his first multi-point game (1g/1a) on Nov. 6 vs. Hartford�Scored in back-to-back games on Nov. 11 and Nov. 12 at Charlotte�Scored an overtime goal on Nov. 19 at Providence�Finished the season with points in three of his last four games (0g/3a).
2009-10: Made his professional debut with Bridgeport, posting two points (1g/1a) in 21 games before being assigned to the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL on Dec. 8...Played for both Utah and the Toledo Walleye in his rookie season, totaling 36 points (15g/21a) in 46 games. 2008-09: Led the Peterborough Petes (Ontario Hockey League) in goals (36), points (69), power-play goals (14), and short-handed goals (3) in his second and final Junior season. 2007-08: Scored 22 points (12g/10a) in 66 games during his first OHL season with the London Knights. 2006-07: Co-led all Cornell (National Collegiate Athlethic Association) rookies in scoring with 19 points (9g/10a) in 29 games. 2005-06: Scored 50 goals and 52 assists for the Lloydminster Bobcats of the Atlantic Junior Hockey League for a league-leading total of 102 points...Led the Bobcats to the AJHL Championship.
