Biography
Acquired: Signed with the Florida Panthers as a free agent on March 31, 2008.
Last Season: Split time between Rochester and the Florida Everblades of the ECHL in his rookie pro season...Scored three points (1+2) along with 12 PIM in 48 games for the Amerks...Had 23 points (10+13) and 8 PIM in 23 games with Florida...Played well in the playoffs for the ECHL Everblades, netting 2 goals and 4 assists...Scored his first goal as a professional in Rochester’s 4-3 loss at Binghamton on 2/28...Recorded his first point as a pro with an assist against Lake Erie on 11/28...Made his pro/Amerk debut on 10/10 against Syracuse

2007-08: Skated in 28 games with the Maine Black Bears (Hockey East), collecting 17 points (8+9) and just two PIM...Finished fourth on the team in scoring and first on the team with four power-play goals...Winner of the 2008 Howard Neville Award as the UMaine Rookie of the Year...Earned Hockey East’s Rookie of the Week honors 02/25 after netting two goals and adding two assists in a weekend sweep over UMass...Had three two-goal games on the season
2006-07: Played his only season of MJAHL hockey with the Amherst Ramblers where he set team and league records scoring 56 goals and 61 assists for 117 points in 54 outings...Recorded 11 points (3+8) in six postseason games...Averaged 2.17 points per game and 1.04 goals per game, both team bests...Was tied for second on the team with three short-handed goals and tied for third with 15 power-play goals...He was named the team's most valuable player and recipient of the Vern Hurley Memorial Award
2005-06: Completed his second season with the Couchiching Terriers (OPJHL), registering 33 points (18+15) and six PIM in 30 games to finish fifth on the team in scoring
