LAST SEASON | 2010-11
• Scored his first professional goal on opening night 10/8/10 vs. Manitoba.
• Made his NHL debut with St. Louis on 12/1/10 in a 4-1 loss to the Washington Capitals.
• Skated in seven games, during two recalls, and recorded 11 penalty minutes. His first NHL fight came on 12/4/10 vs. Colin Fraser (Edmonton)
CAREER
2009-10: Spent the regular season as a member of the Barrie Colts of the Ontario Hockey League. Named team captain and led the Colts to a league-best 57-9-0-2 record (116 pts.) Captained Barrie to the OHL’s Eastern Conference Championship. Played alongside Blues 2008 firstt round pick Alex Pietrangelo while with Barrie including 17 playoff contests. Appeared in two playoff games for 2010 Calder Cup Champion Hershey (AHL) following the conclusion of the OHL playoffs. Member of Team Canada’s silver medal team in the 2010 World Junior Championship. Finished third in career penalty minutes in Barrie history with 479 minutes.
2008-09: Began the year with Barrie (OHL) scoring a career-high, 27 goals, and adding 24 assists for 51 points in 57 games played. Made professional debut with South Carolina (ECHL) recording an assist and six penalty minutes in two games. Member of Team Canada’s gold medal team in the 2009 World Junior Championship
2007-08: Spent his second full season with Barrie (OHL). Led Barrie with 171 penalty minutes through 68 games played.
2006-07: Won a gold medal with Team Ontario at the 2007 Canada Winter Games as a 17-year-old rookie.
