Biography
2011-12: Completed his second full season of professional hockey with Binghamton, tallying career highs in goals (five), assists (15) and points (20)… Was named the B-Sens’ 2011-12 Top Defenseman.
2010-11: Competed in his first full season of professional hockey with Binghamton, tallying seven points (three goals, four assists) in 66 games… Ranked second among B-Sens in penalty minutes (133)… Selected the B-Sens’ 2010-11 Rookie of the Year… Skated in the team’s final 10 post-season contests after returning from injury to help the B-Sens capture the Calder Cup.
2009-10: Completed his collegiate career with the Boston University Terriers (Hockey East), tallying a collegiate career high 10 points (four goals, six assists) while appearing in each of his team’s games for the second consecutive season … Set new collegiate highs in goals, points and penalty minutes (118) while matching career high in assists … Recorded first career shorthanded goal in a 7-3 win over Massachusetts on Jan. 2 … Matched BU’s single season high for penalty minutes … Concluded collegiate career as Terrier’s all-time leader with 354 penalty minutes … Signed an entry-level contract with Ottawa on March 31 … Made his professional debut with Binghamton on April 2 vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton … Recorded his first professional point (and goal) in a 3-2 B-Sens’ victory at Adirondack on April 9.
