After registering a goal on Opening Night on Oct. 4, 2013, O’Dell scored the first hat trick of the IceCaps’ 2013-14 season in just the second game of the year in a 5-1 victory over the Providence Bruins on Oct. 5… Recorded 29 points in his first 28 games before earning his first ever call up to the NHL... Made his NHL debut against the Buffalo Sabres on Dec. 17, 2013 and notched his first career NHL goal against Columbus Blue Jackets’ goaltender Curtis McElhinney in a 6-3 loss on Jan. 11, 2014… Started his first NHL goal streak in his next game, scoring the game-winner on Jan. 13 in a 5-1 victory against goaltender Mike Smith and the Phoenix Coyotes... Finished the NHL season with 30 games played, scoring 3 goals and adding 4 assists… Led the IceCaps with 3 shootout goals during the regular season and topped the team with 9 playoff goals.
