2010-11: Joined WHL Everett after an offseason trade from Red Deer and served as captain…Finished sixth in team scoring despite missing 29 games with injuries…Registered 27 points (10-17—27) in 41 games with the Silvertips…Posted 10 points (4-6—10) in a career-high nine-game scoring streak to start the season…Racked up another nine points (4-5—9) in a six-game scoring streak in late January before losing the next six weeks to a sports hernia injury…Returned to tally three assists in four postseason contests.
2009-10: Ranked among Red Deer’s leaders with 16 goals (4th), 30 assists (3rd) and 46 points (4th)…Was a teammate of current Griffin Willie Coetzee…Joined the Griffins after the season on an amateur tryout and made his professional debut, 4/9/10 vs. Lake Erie.
2008-09: Lit up the WHL for 37 goals, tying for ninth in the league…Added 18 assists to lead Red Deer in scoring with 55 points…Finished third on the club with 99 penalty minutes…Led the Rebels with 12 power play tallies…Appeared at the 2009 CHL Top Prospects Game and won the fastest skater event during the skills competition…Represented Canada at the World U18 Championship and recorded four points (2-2—4).
2007-08: Skated in 54 games in his first full junior season and finished fourth on Red Deer as a 16-year-old with 24 points (13-11—24).
2006-07: Played midget hockey for the Vancouver NW Giants and registered 34 points (21-13—34) in 25 games…Made his junior debut late in the season, going scoreless in four games with Red Deer.
2005-06: Selected second overall by Red Deer in the 2006 WHL Bantam Draft.
