Biography
2011-12: Made his NHL debut on 4/30/12 in the Blues second-round playoff game against Los Angeles…He appeared for 1:07 in the middle of the third period in brief relief of Brian Elliott…Selected to represent Team Canada at the Spengler Cup in Davos, Switzerland from 12/26/1 to 1/1/12...Started 15 consecutive games from 2/25/12 to 3/31/12 and recorded a record of 6-7-0-1 with a 2.32 GAA and 0.932sv%
2010-11: Set Rivermen AHL records in wins (24), minutes played (2805), saves (1306), and shutouts (6) while he finished ranked 17th in AHL in GAA (2.52)...Named starting goaltender of the Western Conference at the 2011 AHL All-Star Classic in Hershey, Pa. Stopped eight of 12 shots in the first 20 minutes of play...Began his professional career 4-0-0 and recorded four shutouts in his first eight starts (11/27/10) and was named AHL Goalie of the Month for November.
2009-10: Named Canadian Hockey League “Goaltender of the Year” and awarded the Jacques Plante Memorial Trophy (Best GAA in QMJHL) and was recognized as first-team all-star...He was the starting goaltender for Team Canada IIHF World U20 Championship and led them to a silver medal...Began the season with Montreal before being traded to Drummondville on1/6/10 for a pair of first round draft picks...Played under former assistant coach Danny Brooks while with Drummondville.
2008-09: Started 61 games for Montreal and posted a 28-23-2 record during the regular season with a 2.94 GAA...In 10 playoff games, he gave up an average of 3.59 goals against and posted a record of 4-6.
2007-08: Spent his first season of junior hockey with the St. John’s Fog Devils and appeared in 30 games with a record of 9-8-4 and a 3.03 GAA...Represented Team Canada at World U18 Championship and went 6-1-0 with two shutouts and 1.43 GAA to help win gold medal.
