Career Notes: 2012-2013: Chris Brown recorded multi-point games on 11/2 and 11/10 and tallied season high 7 PIMS vs. Binghamton on 10/27. 2011-2012: Brown registered a career-high 29 points in 38 games in his junior season at Michigan and set a new career best for assists and penalty minutes (66). He also ranked fifth on the team in points, fourth in goals and tied for second in assists. He earned All-CCHA Honorable Mention. Brown also scored the GWG in CCHA quarterfinal vs. Notre Dame, Mar. 9. He tied his career high with 1-2-3 in the Frozen Diamond Faceoff vs. Ohio State on Jan. 15. He also earned points in four straight games from Jan. 6-15 posting 3-4-7 during the run. 2010-2011: Brown was named Michigan Athletic Academic Achievement winner and helped the Wolverines win CCHA regular season championship and reach the NCAA Frozen Four title game. He ranked second on the team in game-winning goals (5) and had four in six games from Feb. 12- March 11. Brown set a career-best point streak at seven games (5-3-7) from Feb 12-March 11; had career-best three-game goal streak (Feb. 11-18) and career-best three-game assist streak (Feb. 19-26). Brown also won a bronze medal with Team USA in the 2011 IIHF World Junior Championship in Buffalo, New York; he posted two goals and one assist in six games.
