Scored the first goal of his professional career on Nov. 16 against Adirondack ... Was recalled by Ottawa on Jan. 28 and made his NHL season debut on Jan. 29 in a 3-2 home win over Washington … Remained with Ottawa for the duration of the season ... Scored the first goal of his NHL career on Jan. 30 in a 5-1 home win over Montreal ... Led Ottawa rookies (ranking fourth among Senators) in team scoring … Was eighth among all NHL rookies in points ... Tied for the Senators team-lead with three power-play goals ... 2011-12: Made his NHL debut in the Senators’ season opening game on Oct. 7 at Detroit and recorded his first NHL point (an assist) in that contest… Was returned to Djurgårdens (SEL) for the remainder of the regular season on Oct. 26 where he matched professional career highs in goals (five) and games played (26), while setting a new SEL career-high in points (13)… Represented Sweden at the 2012 IIHG World Junior Hockey Championship in Alberta where he tied for second among Swedish players with four goals and registered five total points in playing in each of his team’s six games… Scored the game-winning goal at 10:09 of overtime to lift Sweden to a 1-0 win over Russia in the gold medal game on Jan. 5 in Calgary, helping Sweden capture its first World Junior gold medal since 1981.
