Biography

2012-13: Made his North American debut by appearing in nine games with the Griffins after the conclusion of his season with SHL Brynas…Logged his first AHL game on 3/28/13 at San Antonio and notched two of his three points (0-3—3) on 4/5/13 at Abbotsford…Led Brynas with 42 points (13-29—42) in 53 games…Named one of eight finalists for Swedish Elite League MVP honors…Ranked among league leaders in points (T8th), assists (T6th) and power play points (19, T5th)…Joined Sweden for the World Championships in Sweden and Finland after his AHL stint and helped his country earn a gold medal.

2011-12: Helped lead Brynas to an SEL championship in his second full professional season…Placed among team leaders with 16 goals (2nd), 23 assists (4th) and 39 points (2nd) and ranked 14th in the SHL scoring race…Finished fourth in the league and second on his club in postseason scoring with 16 points (4-12—16) in 16 games…Debuted for the Swedish national team at the World Championships in Finland and Sweden, recording one assist in eight games.
