DRAFTED: Selected by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1st round, 5th overall, in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. 2006-2007 HIGHLIGHTS: Won a gold medal as Canada’s starting goaltender at the 2007 World Junior Hockey Championships in Sweden ... He was also named to the tournament All-Star team and was chosen as tournament MVP with a 6-0 record, two shutouts, a 1.14 goals against average and a .961 save percentage in six games ... Named the 2007 Goaltender of the Year in the Canadian Hockey League ... Selected to the WHL’s First All-Star Team ... Earned his first-career AHL win in his professional debut on Apr. 13, stopping 27 of 28 shots against Grand Rapids (3-1 W) ...
