2006-07: Faced the second-most shots in the Finnish Elite league for Ilves Tampere on his way to a 18-18-10 record in 49 contests, highlighted by a .928 save percent and a 2.38 goals-against-average… The GAA was fifth-best in the league and his win total ranked sixth… Originally slated to split duties in net with Riku Helenius but the latter suffered a shoulder injury in practice early in the year… Added a pair of wins in seven post-season games, allowing just over three goals per game… Played for Team Finland in the World Junior Championships, posting a 2.11 GAA and .940 save percentage to earn Top Goalie honors… Was named to the All-Tournament Team as well… After signing with the Boston Bruins following his trade from the Toronto Maple Leafs, he joined Providence for the American Hockey League playoffs, though he did not see game action. Career: 2005-06: Took over the starting position in net for Ilves Tampere after starting the year as a back-up behind Juha Pitkamaki… Won 12 games while barely allowing two goals an outing on average… The GAA ranked seventh-best in the league… Went 2-3-0-0 in six games at the 2005 World Junior Championships… 2004-05: Collected most of his minutes (1,517) for Ilves Tampere’s Junior A team during the regular season, adding a 1.86 GAA… Collected nine wins in ten games, as well as six shutouts, during the Junior A playoffs en route to winning the league’s championship… Had a 0.87 GAA and .973 save percentage in the tournament… 2003-04: Awarded Top Goaltender honors after winning the 2004 Viking Cup.
