2009-10: Began the season with Charlotte (ECHL) playing in 18 games and recording 11 points (2g, 9a)...Signed PTO with Norfolk (AHL) on 11/09...Played in 16 games with Norfolk registering one goal and three assists...Released from PTO on 01/04 and returned to Charlotte...Signed PTO with Texas (AHL) on 02/19...Played in first career AHL playoff game on 05/04 vs. CHI...Scored overtime game-winner (first AHL playoff goal) on 05/19 vs. HAM...Helped Texas to the Calder Cup Finals.

2008-09: Began the season with Hartford (AHL), playing in 27 games...Was assigned to Charlotte (ECHL) and scored a goal in first game with the Checkers…Led Checkers defensemen with 14 power-play points, five playoff points and was second leading scorer (25 pts) among defensemen in the regular season.

College: Spent four seasons with the Michigan State University Spartans, scoring 11 goals and 39 assists in 162 games...Won 2007 NCAA Championship...Was named MSU Most Outstanding Defenseman in his freshman season.
