ACQUIRED: Selected at the 2006 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders in the 2nd round (60th overall) Last Season: Played 70 games for the Sound Tigers and notched a career high 48 points (14g/34a) in his second season in Bridgeport. Also played 10 games with the New York Islanders, making his second appearance with the Sound Tigers' NHL affiliate, and scored once in 11 games. 2008-2009: In his first full season with the Sound Tigers, he posted 20 goals and 19 assists while playing in 71 games. During the postseason, he appeared in 5 games tallying 3 points (2g/1a). During the regular season, the Islanders called him up, which gave him his first appearance in the NHL.
