Acquired: Selected at the 2007 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Islanders in the 3rd round (62nd overall) Last Season: In his first professional season, Katic played in 48 games for the Sound Tigers and totaled 14 points (3g/11a). 2008-2009: Appeared in 67 games, including 4 playoff games, for the Sarnia Sting of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). During the regular season, he posted a career high in goals with 13 and assists with 41. In addition to having career highs in both goals and assists, he recorded a career high with 45 penalty minutes. During the postseason, he added a goal and 6 penalty minutes. 2007-2008: Played in a career number of post-season games (6), posting 3 assists. 2006-2007: After appearing in a career high in games with 68, he was drafted by the Islanders in the 3rd round (62nd overall). 2005-2006: In his rookie campaign with the Sting, he recorded 34 points (5g/29a).
