The Anaheim Ducks announced Wednesday that the club has traded Shea Theodore to the Vegas Golden Knights in exchange for the Golden Knights’ agreement to select defenseman Clayton Stoner in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft.

Theodore, 21, has split the last two seasons between Anaheim and the AHL’s San Diego Gulls. In 2016-17, he recorded five goals and 15 assists for 20 points in 26 AHL games while adding two goals and seven assists in 34 NHL contests.

Theodore also tallied two goals and six assists in 14 playoff games in 2017, helping the Ducks reach the Western Conference Final.

Theodore has appeared in 89 career AHL games with San Diego and Norfolk, totaling 18 goals and 50 assists for 68 points.
