Wilkes-Barre/Scranton re-signs Haggerty

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that they have signed forward Ryan Haggerty to an American Hockey League contract for the 2017-18 season.

Haggerty played 58 games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton last season, recording 11 goals and 12 assists for 23 points.

Over his three-year career, Haggerty has skated in 170 AHL contests with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Rockford and Hartford, totaling 35 goals and 34 assists for 69 points.

A native of Stamford, Conn., Haggerty spent three seasons as Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and played for the United States’ U-17 and U-18 national teams.
