Wolf Pack’s Gillies suspended

The American Hockey League announced today that Hartford Wolf Pack left wing Trevor Gillies has been suspended for eight (8) games as a result of receiving a match penalty in an April 16, 2005, AHL game in Springfield.

Gillies missed Hartford’s final regular season game on Sun., Apr. 17 versus Springfield and will also miss the Wolf Pack’s next four Calder Cup playoff games in their series with Lowell. The final three games will be served subsequently during the 2005 Calder Cup playoffs and/or the 2005-06 AHL regular season.
