This week’s #AHLFanFriday winner is Apollo Wood, an…unconventional, yet lovable Rochester Americans fan. Who says dogs can’t be hockey fans too?
My name is Apollo Wood. I love that one time of year that my owners take me to go to the watch my favorite team the Rochester Americans at the arena instead of having to watch it on tv while they are at the game. They even took the time to make me my very own Amerks jersey which I sport at the game. I looked so good that I even made it on the Jumbotron when I got to walk out on the ice during periods.
I am excited to for the upcoming season because I know the Amerks are on the upswing. It has been a "ruff" couple of seasons but hockey is strong in Roc City and so are their fans. Take it from one of their biggest–just like me you can’t keep a good dog down. Let’s Go Amerks!
