AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Chicago Wolves head coach Don Lever has been suspended for two (2) games as a result of his actions during a game at Peoria on Mar. 5.

Lever was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline) after receiving a game misconduct at 4:21 of the overtime period.

Lever will miss Chicago’s games today (Mar. 6) vs. Manitoba and Wednesday (Mar. 9) vs. Peoria.
