AHL ANNOUNCES SUSPENSION

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Syracuse Crunch defenseman Andrey Plekhanov has been suspended for two (2) games as a result of his actions in a game vs. Rochester on Oct. 25.

Plekhanov received an automatic two-game suspension as a result of his game misconduct under AHL Rule 75.5(ii) for using an obscene gesture.

Plekhanov will miss Syracuse’s games Wednesday (Oct. 29) at Grand Rapids and Saturday (Nov. 1) at Rockford.
