AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Philadelphia Phantoms right wing Boyd Kane has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of his actions during an AHL game vs. Hamilton on Mar. 30.

Kane received an automatic one-game suspension under AHL Rule 23.4 for accumulating his second game misconduct in the abuse of officials category this season.

Kane will miss Philadelphia’s game on Wednesday (Apr. 2) vs. Norfolk.
