AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Stockton Heat defenseman Dustin Stevenson has been suspended for three (3) games as a consequence of his actions in a game vs. Ontario on Apr. 1.

Stevenson was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline) for leaving the players’ bench on a legal line change for the purpose of starting an altercation.

He will miss Stockton’s games today (Apr. 3) at San Diego, Wednesday (Apr. 6) vs. Ontario and Saturday (Apr. 9) vs. San Diego.
