AHL announces suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Manitoba Moose right wing Guillaume Desbiens and center Garth Murray have been suspended for one (1) game each as a result of their actions in a game vs. Hamilton on May 6.

Desbiens was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 21.1 as a result of being assessed a match penalty. Murray was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).

Desbiens and Murray will both miss Game 6 (tonight) of the North Division Finals playoff series between Manitoba and Hamilton.
