AHL announces suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Bridgeport Sound Tigers left wing Kip Brennan has been suspended for two (2) additional games as a result of his actions during an AHL game at Worcester on Mar. 21.

Brennan was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 29.1 (supplementary discipline).

Brennan had already received an automatic two-game suspension for an accumulation of game misconducts arising from the same incident. Richardson, who already missed Lake Erie’s game on Mar. 22 at Quad City, will also miss games tonight (Mar. 25) vs. Manitoba, Wednesday (Mar. 26) at Grand Rapids and Friday (Mar. 28) vs. Toronto.
