AHL announces suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Lowell Devils right wing Pierre-Luc Leblond has been suspended for four (4) regular-season games as a result of his actions during an AHL game vs. Worcester on Mar. 14.
 
Leblond was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 29.1 (supplementary discipline).
 
Leblond will miss Lowell’s games tonight (Mar. 19) at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Friday (Mar. 21) at Norfolk, Saturday (Mar. 22) at Norfolk and Sunday (Mar. 23) at Hershey.
 
The American Hockey League also announced that Hershey Bears center Jason Morgan has been suspended for four (4) regular-season games as a result of his actions during an AHL game vs. Manitoba on Mar. 15.
 
Morgan was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 29.1 (supplementary discipline) following his major and game misconduct for elbowing in the first period of Saturday’s game.
 
Morgan will miss Hershey’s games tonight (Mar. 19) at Albany, Saturday (Mar. 22) vs. Philadelphia and Sunday (Mar. 23) vs. Lowell.
