AHL announces suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced the following suspensions: 

San Antonio Rampage left wing Patrick Bordeleau has been suspended for three (3) games as a consequence of a boarding incident in a game at Texas on Nov. 7. 

Bordeleau was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss San Antonio’s games Wednesday (Nov. 11) at Texas, Friday (Nov. 13) vs. Stockton and Sunday (Nov. 15) vs. Texas. 

Syracuse Crunch center Tanner Richard has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of an interference incident in a game vs. Albany on Nov. 6. 

Richard was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss Syracuse’s games Friday (Nov. 13) vs. Binghamton and Saturday (Nov. 14) vs. Utica. 

Albany Devils center Blake Coleman has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game at Syracuse on Nov. 6. 

Coleman was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss Albany’s game Friday (Nov. 13) at Providence. 

Providence Bruins defenseman Tommy Cross has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of his actions in a game at Utica on Nov. 7. 

Cross was assessed an instigator penalty within the final five minutes of the third period, resulting in an automatic one-game suspension under the provisions of AHL Rule 46.22. He will miss Providence’s game Wednesday (Nov. 11) at Bridgeport.
