AHL announces suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced the following suspensions: 

Grand Rapids Griffins left wing Eric Tangradi has been suspended for three (3) games as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game at Iowa on Dec. 13. 

Tangradi was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss Grand Rapids’ games Wednesday (Dec. 16) at Lake Erie and Friday (Dec. 18) and Saturday (Dec. 19) vs. Texas. 

Providence Bruins left wing Anthony Camara has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of a his game misconduct for charging, assessed in a game vs. Hartford on Dec. 13. 

Camara was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss Providence’s game Friday (Dec. 18) vs. Bridgeport.
