AHL announces suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. …  The American Hockey League today announced the following suspensions: 

Lehigh Valley Phantoms left wing Jay Rosehill has been suspended for three (3) games as a consequence of his match penalty for an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game at St. John’s on Apr. 2. 

Rosehill will miss Lehigh Valley’s games Friday (Apr. 8) at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Saturday (Apr. 9) vs. Bridgeport and Sunday (Apr. 10) at Bridgeport. 

Lehigh Valley Phantoms right wing Aaron Palushaj has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of a boarding incident in a game at St. John’s on Apr. 1. 

Palushaj was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss Lehigh Valley’s game Friday (Apr. 8) at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. 

San Antonio Rampage head coach Dean Chynoweth has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of his actions at the conclusion of his team’s game at Milwaukee on Apr. 2. 

Chynoweth was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline). He will miss San Antonio’s game Wednesday (Apr. 6) vs. San Jose.
