SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced the following suspensions:
• Rochester Americans defenseman Shaone Morrisonn has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game at San Antonio on Dec. 16.
Morrisonn will miss Rochester’s game Wednesday (Dec. 21) vs. Lake Erie.
• Portland Pirates left wing Ryan Hollweg has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of his actions in a game vs. St. John’s on Dec. 18.
Hollweg will miss Portland’s game on Dec. 26 vs. Worcester.
