AHL announces suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced that Springfield Falcons defenseman Will Weber has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of a cross-checking incident in a game vs. Worcester on Oct. 12.

Weber was suspended under the provisions of AHL Rule 28.1 (supplementary discipline).

Weber will miss Springfield’s game Friday (Oct. 18) at Providence.

The American Hockey League today announced that Iowa Wild left wing Jason Zucker has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of a match penalty for an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game vs. Oklahoma City on Oct. 13.

Zucker will miss Iowa’s games Saturday (Oct. 19) and Sunday (Oct. 20) at Charlotte.
