AHL announces suspensions

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League today announced the following suspensions:

• Hamilton Bulldogs center Ryan White has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of his actions in a game at Manitoba on Mar. 24. White was assessed an instigator penalty within the final five minutes of the third period, resulting in an automatic one-game suspension under AHL Rule 47.21.

White will miss Hamilton’s game Friday (Mar. 26) at Abbotsford.

• Syracuse Crunch left wing Jon Mirasty has been suspended for two (2) games as a result of his actions in a game at Bridgeport on Mar. 24. Mirasty received an automatic two-game suspension under AHL Rule 23.3 for accumulating his fourth game misconduct in the general category this season.

Mirasty will miss Syracuse’s games Friday (Mar. 26) vs. Toronto and Saturday (Mar. 27) vs. Albany.

• Syracuse Crunch center Tom Sestito has been suspended for one (1) game as a result of his actions in a game at Bridgeport on Mar. 24. Sestito received an automatic one-game suspension under AHL Rule 23.3 for accumulating his third game misconduct in the general category this season.

Sestito will miss Syracuse’s game Friday (Mar. 26) vs. Toronto.
